Located in Boise, Idaho, Bishop Kelly High School is a private Catholic high school founded in 1964 in Boise, Idaho. BK educates students in the Catholic tradition, focusing on the development of the whole person – spirit, mind and body.
The Bishop Kelly Boys Lacrosse program was established by Peter Anderson in 1999. Since then, players, parents and alumni have worked hard to set a strong foundation for the program while prioritizing the ideals of Bishop Kelly above all else: academic excellence, moral leadership, and social responsibility. Thanks to this hard work, the Boys Lacrosse program has become a staple in the lives of over 60 young men at Bishop Kelly High School and an important catalyst in Bishop Kelly’s mission to educate and develop the whole student in the Catholic tradition – Spirit, Mind and Body.
The program has achieved success both on and off the field, graduating many class valedictorians and players who have gone on to play at the college ranks. With the majority of BK lacrosse players participating in two or more sports and a core focus on developing players as total athletes, the boys lacrosse program has seen many of its players move on to play college football and basketball as well. This is a testament to the program’s strength and ability to mold today’s young player into the tomorrow’s all-around athlete.
